The Melbourne Dharma House

Tulku Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche and HE Phakchok Rinpoche traveled to Melbourne Australia during 2012 and offered Dharma teaching.
Following the suggestion made by Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche to some of the
Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling students based in Melbourne, a number of Dharma students have made the aspiration to create a rural Buddhist study and practice center for lay practitioners.

With the blessings of Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche a shrine room for group practice has been established in Melbourne, and this is available to Practitioners of the Chokling Tersar lineage and Dharma students under the direction of our teachers at
Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling
The Residential Dharma House.

In order to provide this venue for group practice a residential Dharma House has been created in an Eastern Melbourne suburb, with Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche's blessing. The residential practitioners will collectively make available the shrine room for regular group practices by dharma practitioners of our Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling teachers mandala,

This venue creates a central location available in Melbourne for group practices in the Chokling Tersar tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, and provides a meeting location for practitioners based in Victoria to work towards fulfilling Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche's vision,

The Venue for Group Practice
If you are located in Victoria Australia and have previously attended teachings from Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche,, Chokling Rinpoche, and Phakchok Rinpoche, and have an interest to participate in group practice with other like minded Dharma practitioners in the lineage of the Chokling Tersar, please use these contact details dharmahousevic@gmail.com.

Practitioners might previously have attend teachings in Nepal, Australia, Asia, Europe, or the USA. or study the Tara's Triple Excellence program and other dharma courses online at dharmasun.org and the.Rangjung Yeshe Institute ( Kathmandu,Nepal ),, and all are welcome to participate.

This group practice venue is conveniently located in an eastern Melbourne suburb within a 30 minutes driving distance from the Melbourne CBD ( Eastern freeway exit ) and has access to public transport nearby.

Participating in Group Practice, and Contributing time, resources or skills.
Many of us have traveled far and wide to seek out genuine teachers, and receive precious instructions to liberate us from ignorance and remove the obscurations that cloud our perceptions. We have been shown the path and been given the tools to complete the journey, we now need to diligently apply the methods.

If you are a practitioner in the Chokling Tersar lineage, or a Dharma students under the direction of our teachers at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling, then your participation in the Dharma Group Practice is the most important contribution you can make. It affirms the need for creating and maintaining an Australian group practice venue in Melbourne and Victoria.
